Aspen Community Foundation builds philanthropy and supports nonprofit organizations by connecting donors to community needs, building permanent charitable funds and bringing people together to solve community problems.Through our community grantmaking to local nonprofits and as the backbone for the Aspen to Parachute Cradle to Career Initiative, ACF continues to expand opportunities for all to live healthy, independent lives. Because of people coming together, discovering new connections, and forming new collaborations, we are making real and lasting change for children and families.
Aspen Film, Suite 103
With a reach that stretches through the Roaring Fork Valley, Aspen Film organizes a major movie event in every season, offers an extensive education program, and hosts numerous special presentations. Each year, some 30,000 people participate. Aspen Film is committed to original content. All of the more than 200 films they show annually are regional debuts, many of which might not otherwise be available to local audiences. Aspen Film offer one-of-a-kind enrichment opportunities through our educational outreach. Appealing to youth and adults, 90 percent of these programs are offered at no charge.
Aspen Public Radio, Suite 134
Aspen Public Radio, broadcasting on KAJX, Aspen and KCJX, Carbondale, is a public radio station located in Aspen, Colorado. It serves communities in the Roaring Fork, Crystal, Colorado, Frying Pan and Eagle River valleys. The station is located in the Red Brick Center for the Arts and its public file is open for inspection during regular business hours at 110 E. Hallam Street, Suite 134, Aspen, CO. The station is proud to be the official voice of the Aspen Music Festival and School. Classical Music from Aspen airs weekday afternoons throughout the year from 1 until 3, and during the Festival season highlights exclusive interviews and recordings of AMFS artists.

Aspen Words, Suite 116
Aspen Words was founded in 1976 as a literary center based in Aspen, CO. A program of the Aspen Institute, our mission is to encourage writers, inspire readers, and connect people through the power of stories. AW’s year-round programs include Summer Words, a writing conference and literary festival; Winter Words, a speaker series presenting the best of contemporary literature; the Aspen Words Literary Prize, a $35,000 annual award for fiction with social impact; as well as a writers-in-the schools program and writing residencies.
Buddy Program, Suite 125
For over 40 years, the Buddy Program has been serving youth in the Roaring Fork Valley community. The Buddy Program runs four programs throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, including one-on-one mentoring, group/experiential mentoring, and financial literacy education. Pairs in our Community Program stay together for over 4 years, more than twice that of national mentoring programs. Program evaluations demonstrate that the Buddy Program has helped our Little Buddies in areas of self-esteem, decision making, academics and relationships with friends and family. The Buddy Program worked with 1,098 youth and their families in 2014, and continues to grow to meet the large need in the Roaring Fork Valley. The Buddy Program is a registered 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Chris Klug Foundation, Suite 102A
Chris Klug Foundation advocates for organ and tissue donation, and inspires those touched by transplantation.
Through our programs we reach tens of thousands of young people each year, equipping them with facts about organ donation so they can make educated decisions. The Chris Klug Foundation seeks to inspire people to register to be organ donors and to give inspiration and hope to those who are on the waitlist or have already received a transplant. The Chris Klug Foundation educates people from across the United States about the importance of registering to be an organ donor. The Chris Klug Foundation educates and inspires people across the United States to REGISTER to become an organ donor and to help save lives.
GrassRoots Community Network TV, Suite132
We believe that the health of our community depends on inclusive communal problem solving. Just solutions are only possible with the active participation of, and free flowing communications between, literate citizens and their organizations. GrassRoots Community Network provides an egalitarian, apolitical and non-judgmental community media resource where democratic ideals are protected and nurtured. GrassRoots Community Network enables and encourages citizens to participate in civil discourse, experimental content creation, free personal expression and open access to electronic media distribution. GrassRoots Community Network weaves together the interests and needs of politically separate but geographically and economically linked counties, municipalities and neighborhoods into a single Roaring Fork Valley community.
Theatre Aspen, Suite 126
The Mission of Theatre Aspen is to rekindle a sense of discovery in audiences who live in and visit the Roaring Fork Valley by producing big theatre in a small space with intimate, exciting storytelling; to educate the next generation of theatre artists and enthusiasts and to support the creation of new work for the American theatre canon.
Our unofficial mission is to be Excellent and Fun, and these characteristics guide us in presenting a philosophy and personality that is consistent and we hope, infectious. Jazz Aspen Snowmass, Suite 104 Founded in 1991, Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) presents a multitude of musical genres in a complex set of venues across Aspen and Snowmass: the JAS June and Labor Day Experiences featuring popular music from world-renowned artists to crowds of up to 10,000/per day: the JAS Café Series featuring outstanding jazz musicians throughout the year; and diverse year-round music education programs throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. The mission of JAS is to present and preserve jazz and related forms of music through world-class events, performances, and education programs. Since 1996 JAS has donated over $7 million to music education.
